This is a must-read for anyone contemplating an endoscopy with IV sedation. This study reveals that, while complications are indeed rare, IV sedation is the most likely portion of the procedure to result in complications. I appreciate the accuracy of this information and highly recommend it to anyone contemplating an endoscopy with IV sedation.
